Baked Ham and Cheese Omelet
8 large eggs (or
use 4 whole eggs and 6 egg whites)
1 cup whole or
2% milk
½ teaspoon seasoned
salt
8 ounces diced
cooked ham (or substitute with cooked bacon or sausage)
1 cup grated cheddar
cheese
3 tablespoons very
finely diced sweet onion (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
Directions:
1.
Beat eggs, milk,
and seasoned salt together in a large bowl.
Stir
in ham, cheese, and onion.
2.
Pour egg mixture
into a greased 8-inch-square baking dish.
3.
Bake at 350°F for
40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and a knife inserted in the center
comes out clean.
4.
Cut into squares
and garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
